Nineteen business organizations have formed a coalition to oppose starting a single-payer health care system in New York state.
The Business Council of New York State is one of the organizations in the “Realities of Single Payer” group. Heather Briccetti, the Business Council’s president and CEO, said the coalition wants to get the word out in this election year that, according to a commissioned survey, there isn’t widespread support for a single-payer system.
