Hospital Association President Discusses Single Payer

On  November 27th, Bea Grause, president of the Healthcare Association of New York State. appeared at the Rockefeller Institute of Government. During her presentation, “Laying the Foundation for a Constructive Discussion of Healthcare in 2019,” she discussed the Single Payer proposal and the implications it could have if it were implemented in New York.  Speaking from her experience as head of Vermont’s hospital association during the failed attempt to implement a Single Payer Healthcare System she said, “It would be beyond irresponsible to try to make immediate tax changes without proper study.”  Click here to view the slides or to watch a video of the presentation.
